Emphasis

Emphasis is SIFE Concordia’s Sustainability event.

Last year, the SIFE Concordia team went to two Montreal elementary schools to teach the students about making sustainable decisions. In order to teach them how to be green, a series of activities were organized including a recycling race to sort trash from recyclables, making a biodome in a bottle, Are you a sustainable 5th grader? Quiz and more.

With over 40 participating students and 6 teachers and administrators, SIFE Concordia was able to have a significant impact on the participants, their families, and the schools.

This coming year, we plan to expand this event to be a city wide event that will attract children and their families to participate in more entertaining and educational games.
