Venture Medium
Venture Medium is an open event showcasing the community of varied and innovative Montreal entrepreneurs. This day long conference will be split into 3 distinct topics covering : Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Finance. Each of these topics will feature workshops with topics such as Social Media for Small Businesses, Financing your Startup, and Hands on Web Marketing for taking your Business Online.You will have a choice of 3 out of 6 workshops plus access to our Welcome Luncheon with Special Guest Speakers including Mr. Bill Barrar, Center for Technology Commercialization (CTC), NASA’s Business Outreach discussing the Entrepreneurial Mindset.
VM provides an exciting, encouraging, and engaging environment that promotes the exchange of ideas, knowledge, expertise and services.
Divided into three distinct steps, participants are taught and inspired by leading industry professionals about the “ins and outs” of entrepreneurial life, along with hands-on tangible knowledge of the business world as a whole. Each step has been carefully designed to empower and involve the entrepreneurs, from small group workshops and in-depth business conferences to sought-after speakers and lively expositions, this is a popular and ever-growing event that is not to be missed!
At the end of the year, selected entrepreneurs that attended the conference will have the opportunity to present their business in a “Dragon’s Den” style Interactive Conference for feedback, constructive criticism and the chance of Venture Capital Funding.
